The Thursday night prayer meeting at the school house grows larger and more benefitting. T J Brown of Somerset spent weekend with his mother here. Rose Gentry joined him for a few weeks. Mr and Mrs W E Anderson are visiting relatives at Mullins Station this week. W E Hasty is in Danville on business. Mrs Sarah E Nichols stays with her daughter J J DeBord for a few weeks. R H Brown was in Mt Vernon Monday. Reuben Hurry of Science Hill died Sunday of paralysis and was brought here for burial. He lived in this county for years, later moving to Science Hill Pulaski County. He was buried at the McKinney burying ground Tuesday.
