Survived by mother, two sisters Sallie and Annie Clay, and brother Ed Clay of Louisville. funeral at home conducted by Rev. Bowen and others, Machpelah cemetery burial.

Automobile kills boy on Maysville pike
Will Scott of Sharpsburg drove slowly on the Maysville pike seven miles from town when Clay Williams aged 12 darted from behind the car and tried to cross ahead. Scott braked hard but struck the boy who died minutes later. Deceased is the son of Henry Williams. Accident deemed unavoidable.
