Bachelor Oil stockholders approve sale to Superior Oil
At a 10 oclock Saturday meeting in Lexington the Bachelor Oil Company voted to accept J H Byrd s proposal to sell all Bachelor holdings to Superior Oil Corporation for 80 cents a share by June 5 the deal includes liabilities and the Sallie Davis lease of 400 acres with 26 wells producing about 200 barrels daily in Lee county the undeveloped holdings in Allen and Barren counties were also part of the sale.
