Silas E. Myers, 66, died at his home near Moorefield in Nicholas county on February 22 after a long spinal and kidney illness. Funeral held February 24 at home, Carlisle cemetery interment. Survived by wife, three daughters, two brothers, one sister. Family and friends from the area attended.
