Tobacco sales at Planters Warehouse Winchester
A large tobacco sale at the Planters Loose Leaf Warehouse in Winchester saw 100000 pounds sold Monday. Prices ranged from 2 to 41 cents per pound, with various grades including green, frozen, black frozen, fair color, and old color tobacco. Mr. L. H. Mason sold a crop for 11.20 dollars. Rejections were few and buyers generally satisfied. The next sale is scheduled for Thursday February 15.
