Survived by brothers James and George J Hunt and sister Mrs Kate F Unt, plus wife Nannie Greene Hunt, nine children and many grandchildren. Funeral at the Baptist church with Rev J S Wilson and burial at Machpelah.

Mrs. Ella Ann Riddle, 80, died Thursday at her daughter's home in the city from injuries after a fall that fractured her hip months earlier. Born in Cincinnati, she moved here 22 years ago from Champaign Illinois. Survived by daughter Mrs. Ben W Hall a sister Mrs. Frank Guernsey of Indiana and brother Dr A H Leonard of Chicago. Funeral services were by Rev M V P Yeaman Presbyterian church with burial Machpelah Cemetery.

Train Hits Car In Winchester Crash Injures Man
A limousine containing a party from this city was struck by an L N train at the Main Street crossing in Winchester last Friday night. W B Baird suffered a torn thigh ligament and was taken to Clark County Hospital. B L Baird J J Heidrick and Geo Woolf were cut and bruised. The driver swerved to avoid the oncoming train and all occupants were thrown from the vehicle.

Flu Ban Lifted as Health Boards End Restrictions
City and County Health Boards met last Friday to remove the flu ban. Mt Sterling Public Schools Trustees resumed classes Monday morning as conditions improve and doctors report the disease under control. Only dancing remains prohibited both publicly and privately.

Local tobacco market opens with poor quality crop
Mt. Sterling opened Monday with eight buyers on the floor at Whitehall and Robertson House. Prices ranged from 6 to 61 cents for inferior tobacco while higher grades showed 8 to 10 cents above last year. Overall crop began 2 to 4 cents higher than 1917 with several lots averaging 40 to 49.5 cents.
