Mrs. Elizabeth L. Masten 76 died Tuesday at a kin’s home in Eustis after a brief illness. A Mount Dora resident since 1923, she was predeceased by her husband. She was active in Community church and Eastern Star. Survived by son Norman L. Bryan and grandson George R. Bryan of Detroit. Services at Zeller Funeral Home Eustis Friday 2 p.m. with Eastern Star rites at Forest Park cemetery.

At a football game Mount Dora high schools bands joined for halftime honoring supervising principal D. D. Roseborough. Players Rolanda Lane and others posted yardage totals and the Mount Dora band performed and formed initials and a Confederate flag before playing Are You From Dixie. Adult Driver Class and Korean Veterans Education Plan
Lou Bethea, director of Lake County's adult education program, aims to create an adult driver training course and a high school diploma program for Korean veterans.
