Mount Dora Fire Department Affects Eight Calls In August
The Mount Dora Fire Department answered eight calls in August including three vehicle fires causing $875 damage. One structural fire occurred in the Highlander Motel basement with $100 laundry damage. The rescue boat was called twice, one mutual aid response occurred, and one unit was down. Roy Tremain taught artificial respiration and demonstrated CPR to a Boy Scout troop.
