The Lake County Duplicate Bridge Club met at the Umatilla Community Building at 7 30. North South winners in the seven table Mitchel game were Mrs E A Nimnicht with Mr Laswell first place. Mrs J S Allen and Mrs R B Cooper second. Mrs Paul Gerding and H D Hufford third. East West winners were Mrs K Harvey with Mrs Q Mayhew first. Mrs C J Sparks and Mrs Frank Boli second. Mrs Keith Fowler and Frank Copeland third. Stand by program invites all bridge players to join with or without a partner. A Social Security update makes disabled widows aged 50 or older eligible for monthly benefits even if they have never worked, affecting Lake and Sumter counties.
