The Mount Dora City Council finance committee spent hours red ink budgeting for 1964 and agreed to tighter administration of the electric water and sewer departments. They expect three years of restricted spending as improvements funded by borrowing press onward. The electric department will be targeted to cut losses and save about 30000 dollars yearly. New bookkeeping methods will help track revenue and expenses while the 1963-64 draft was cut by 66360 dollars, bringing the budget near revenue projections of 343000 dollars with potential 10000 to 20000 more from electric revenues.
