Naval Planes and Engines Ordered for War Effort
The report lists 1933 plans totaling 1 066 aircraft and 1940 plans at 2 100 aircraft with 2 100 more contracted and 1 800 ordered. In addition, 17 000 airplane engines were ordered.
All Aboard Farm Train Tour Invites Florida Farmers
All Florida farmers and others in agriculture are invited aboard a special Livestock Forage and Forestry Train. Operated by Atlantic Coast Line and Louisville and Nashville with the University of Florida College of Agriculture, the tour runs from Gainesville on November 7 to Pensacola on December 4 with stops in over 50 communities. Dates include Sanford November 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, Mount Dora to Eustis, Leesburg November 25 9 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome with no charge.
