Council To Seek Bids For Parking Lot Upgrade
City council will open bids at next week s meeting for a parking lot project at the Community building area and for widening Baker street to ease a traffic bottleneck. The $3 000 cost comes from the parking meter fund which is near that total after recent sidewalk work. The plan would grade and pave the east behind the building, nearly doubling parking space and add an exit to Baker street to maximize use at the site.
