Farmer Buried Alive In Dry Well Rescued After Hours
Joseph Andre, a 60 year old farmer from Molino, spent seven hours buried to his nose in a 40 foot dry well when walls caved in. Neighbors alerted help as dirt poured in, State Road department equipment lowered a culvert section for air, and a block and tackle hoisted him to the surface. He was exhausted but uninjured beyond possible internal injuries.
