Mildred Blackman and George B Ramsdell wed Saturday at the Methodist parsonage with Rev Kenneth G Rogers officiating. The Ladies Aid Society of the Methodist church will meet Friday at 3 o clock at the church. Barbara Hopcraft and Horace E Chapman wed in Orlando on October 18 1939. Mrs Chapman is a Mount Dora alumna.
The Ocklawaha Chapter D A R convened at Mrs. Graeber's residence in Eustis for its regular conservation meeting outlining local projects and community preservation efforts.
Thursday evening Dr Frances Wallace and O W Smith spoke at a meeting on conservation and reforestation in Lake County. Kennedy urged attracting winter tourists with game and fresh water, while Smith described planting young pines and D A R Penny Pines projects. Twenty two members and nine guests attended.
