State aims to guide moral teaching in public schools
Teachable Moment's framework for a moral and spiritual education guide remains a draft under study by educators. The plan, advanced by Mrs Myron Taylor and chaired by Thomas D Bailey, seeks to embed foundations of culture into the curriculum while avoiding church attendance. A pilot school rollout is planned next year with reassessment of the draft thereafter.
