City mails $90,000 in Mount Dora tax statements
City Hall employees mailed about 2,000 tax statements totaling more than $90,000 in revenue to Mount Dora property owners. Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 2 through Tuesday, Dec. 10, reservations may be made for any number not already reserved. Under no circumstance will any reservations be taken after Dec. 10. The Florida 1963 legislature increased tag costs from $2.50 to $12.50, with 1964 tags issued for 13 months. Tag prices will run from $6.92 to $39.42.
