Snell McCarthy Tie The Knot In Mount Dora Nuptials
Kathleen Marie McCarthy daughter of Mrs E Robert Schulte and James Phillip Snell son of Mr James P Snell of Mount Dora were married on Saturday. The bride wore a lace gown with empire waist and train, veil trimmed with Venise lace pearls and satin. Matron of honor was Mrs Jay Clamp with two bridesmaids Linda Barwick and Cindy Chavis. Ushers were Roger Seebaugh Ronald Barwick and Allen Stoneking. A 200 guest reception followed at the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce with luncheon cake and champagne punch. The couple will live in Eustis. the bride works at Pizza Roma and the groom at A D Rosier Plumbing.

Browns celebrate 50th wedding anniversary in Mount Dora
J. W. Brown and his wife of Mount Dora marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a Oct 27 dinner at Squires Hope Restaurant. Guests included relatives from Fort Lauderdale Boston Northport and the Venice Northport area plus their Detroit area family. A four tier cake a money tree gifts poems and dancing followed the buffet style meal and ser ved coffee and champagne.
