Mount Dora High School received praise for its academic standing and wide curriculum. Club leaders outlined senior and junior class college plans and noted strong science courses and extensive extra curriculars including Honor Society, Future Business Leaders, drama, band, and sports.

Sunday visitors to Mrs Frank Petura included Mr and Mrs George Hadden of Eustis and Mr and Mrs E E Lond of Kilmarnock Virginia who were weekend guests of Mrs C F Poline, while Mrs Grave Baird of Orlando spent Sunday with Mrs E E.
