Pentecost Four Steps Explained by Local Pastor
The Rev. Mr. Kress taught Pentecost as four Spirit gifts in the founding of Mount Dora church. He described the initial sound from heaven, then sight with tongues of fire, followed by the Spirit filling believers, and emphasized not rationalizing the divine beyond understanding. Have Book Will Travel Gospel Call Roams Earth
Rev. James Jones urged his congregation to adopt Have Book Will Travel as the Christian enterprise’s motto. He linked expansion of faith to spreading the gospel abroad using prayer purse and person, recalling Livingstone Schweitzer and others who carried the message to distant lands. The call stressed acting now rather than waiting for a perfect reach at home.
