No Cocktail Bar At IceeHouse
The IceHouse Theatre executive board opposes a cocktail lounge in the new theatre building. President Al Crone said a lounge does not belong in a resident community theatre, though some requests had been made. He noted stage improvements include smaller flats for easier handling and a brighter stage picture, and estimated air conditioning costs at 6500 to 8000 dollars with a better ventilating plan possible. Director B Y Pennington added the play reading committee has proposed The Desperate Hours and Separate Tables along with The Mouse Trap and Speaking of, for consideration by the Board of Directors.
