Some Meters Take Summer Holiday
The downtown parking meters will not be checked on Wednesday afternoons until further notice as the Summer schedule expands. Mayor W. D. Patton told City Council that meter heads will be removed from several blocks including Alexander street between Fifth and Sixth, the north side of Fifth between Donnelly and Baker, and the south side of Sixth between Donnelly and Alexander.
