Lake County fair showcases garden clubs and floral displays
Agricultural Commissioner Nathan Mayo toured the Lake County Fair livestock area and praised the garden clubs from Eustis, Tavares, Clermont and Leesburg for their Orange Blossom Trail exhibit. Winners included Mrs. Millard Reid, Mrs. Robert Stewart and Mrs. Richard Edgerton among many blue and red ribbon entries in horticulture and arrangements.

Two Lakes and Hills Garden club exhibitors took top honors at the Lake County Fair second judging round. Mrs. Millard Reid earned a blue ribbon for All Americas Sunshine Trail a vivid blend of snapdragons tea roses and gerberas.
