Prices To Rise April 15 For Confederate Memorial Coins
The selling price of Confederate Memorial half dollars will rise from 1.00 to 2.00 per coin on and after April 15. The change was ordered by The Stone Monumental Association Board at the February 24 regular meeting. Mount Dora Bank and Trust has sold its B85 quota. Bank of Mount Dora still has a few. Buy them as a keepsake of the greatest memorial.

Death of E Alden Converse in St Petersburg Florida
E Alden Converse, 81, longtime St Petersburg resident, died in his sleep at the family home on Clayton street Thursday March 18. A native of Connecticut, he moved to St Petersburg in 1908 and served as secretary for the Royal Arch Masons chapter. He is survived by his widow Verta A Converse and their son.
