Mount Dora Student Wins High Man Trophy at Sheppard AFB
A/10 Pinkney Turner of Mount Dora won the high man trophy for grades in a training program at Sheppard Field Texas with a 96.8 average. He received the model B-57 trophy and is now at Yuma County Airport Arizona with the 17 Tow Target Squadron. Turner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Turner of Mount Dora.
