Methodists Reach 40 000 At D D Banquet

Mount Dora church members raised 40 000 toward a 50 000 goal for a new addition. Key gifts included 2 000 from a young father of three and 3 000 from Dr. Freds donor, plus 1 500 from Councilman Simpson. Others gave 1 200 1 400 1 000 or more as the drive proceeds to add transepts and space for preschool and Sunday School. The drive ends Sunday with final figures announced after services.
