Navy Lt. James E. Wetz and Lt. (Nick) Nicholson return plans noted. Wetz trains 250 pilots a year at Corpus Christi station aboard the IS 2A Tracker. Durden serves with the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood as a field artillery crewman. Nicholson to return to the U S in March after Mekong Delta service. Seaman Philip H. Manins graduates with distinction from submarine school in Groton and reports aboard USS Nathan Hale. Manins is a Mount Dora area native with Wyoming and Florida ties.

New District Board Trustees Meet at Lake Sumter Junior College
A meeting of the Lake Sumter Junior College District Board of Trustees featured new directors including Mrs. W. M. O'Dell Jr of Oxford and Mrs. Nannette Smith of Center Hill. Officers present were Howard Kurfiss of Groveland as chair and Rowan Pickard of Clermont as vice-chairman with Dr. Paul P. Williams as college president. The Simpson family extends thanks to friends who sent flowers food and sympathy and to Dr Schriver Rev Lacy the Masonic Lodge Rotarian Cliff Harden for arranging the details of the service.

The Mount Dora Art League invites all artists to exhibit at the Outdoor Show in Donnelly Park on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No space charges or commissions. A juniors’ judging display with ribbons will be held in age groups.
