A historic dedication recounts the consecration of a church for worship and community service. Leaders and congregation pledge to evangelize, educate, care for souls, and pursue unity and justice, followed by prayer, hymn, benediction, and a postlude.
The Lake County Fair began at 7 30 PM Monday and runs to midnight Saturday March 15 at the new fair buildings in Eustis. Mayors and public officials attended a reception and viewed community exhibits. Umatilla High School Band led a march to the fairgrounds under director Miss Clarice Arnold.
