Mt. Dora to Vote March 16 on Electric System Sale
Mt. Dora Florida will hold a special election March 16 1928 to decide whether to sell the town electric and power distribution system for eighty two thousand dollars to the Florida Public Service Company. The measure stems from a February 14 1928 town council resolution approving the sale contingent on voter approval. The contract details are set with Florida Public Service Company of Orlando and the Mt. Dora Town government.
