The Christian Home and Bible School Bulldogs defeated Montverde Academy 44 to 42 in a tight Class C regional bout at Montverde. Leaders Manly Loen Oesens Boyd Bob Hickman and Bill Davidson scored 17 15 and 14 as the team advances to Moore Haven for the regional tourney with Miami Belaw High School looming Friday night. The winner advances to Gainesville for state play. The paper also notes campus landscaping adding 93 palm trees and profiles two seniors Cheryl Hall and Richard Hayward with birthplaces and moves.
