Marlene Sue Dake and John Richard Foran united in a double ring ceremony at First Methodist Church. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon L. Dorcas Brigham was elected president at the Lake County Florida Audubon Society's new chapter formation meeting held Feb 24. Officers include Russell M. Geer and Dr. Henry Harford. 27 charter members listed. A March 30 meeting invites prospective charter members.
Mount Dora Homemaker's Club holds a meeting at the Mount Dora Community Building on Wednesday March 10. A 9:30 am arts workshop directed by Mrs Edna Frank precedes a 1 pm session on Citizenship and Public Affairs led by Mrs Otto Hinz. Members should bring bag lunches old linens for the Retarded Children's Home and craft projects for Lake County Fair display.
The Lake County Duplicate Bridge Club met Monday night at the Umatilla Community Building for an 11 table Mitchell movement. In N-S standings, top pairs were Anne Walker and Madge Gardner first. George Caldwell and L. F. Douglass second. M Rhein and J Sparks third. R. H. Montgomery and William Friedman fourth. In E-W standings, B J McCabe and Ray Breeden first. C C Himelsbaugh and Martha Montgomery second. John Fahs and Ray Breeden third. Huf ford and others fourth.

They both attend the University of Florida Gainesville with Sadler set to graduate in April with a degree in Agriculture.
Hibiscus Circle of the Lakes and Hills Garden Club will host an all day flower arrangement workshop Friday starting at 9 30 a m at Mrs Van N Marker s home. Members should bring a container needle point holder and flowers and leaves. Mrs Robert Eichelberger leads the event. Attendees should bring a sandwich for lunch while coffee will be served. The Circle will elect officers.
