A Lake County mobile unit offers free chest X-rays in Mount Dora on Tuesday at First National Bank corner 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Then at East Town Grant and Grandview 6 to 9 p.m. Additional sessions move to Golden Triangle Shopping Center Friday and Saturday March 23 and 24 with extended hours. The effort is led by local health groups and the state board of health with district backing.

Death of Lt Wade Simpson at Sea In Naval Air Accident
Memorial services were held at the First Methodist Church for Lt. (J.G.) Wade Roland Simpson USNR who died in an airplane accident near the Aleutian Islands while serving as Naval Aviator with VAV II USN. He was a 1953 Mount Dora High School graduate and UF alumnus. He is survived by his wife Maria E. and son Drew Evans.

At Mount Dora Court on Monday Judge Willmott suspended one teenage driver's license for 90 days. Nine traffic violations, eight disorderly conduct cases, and one peddling without a license were heard. Fines totaled 25 dollars with nine bonds forfeited, totaling 185 dollars.
