Skit Night Delights Community Audience With Young Talent
The second grade students opened the PTA Skit Night at the community building performing a patriotic song under Mrs. Charlotte Bennett. Lions, Kiwanians, and Business and Professional Women showcased acts while high school dancers and singers added polish. The Lakes and Hills Garden Club awarded prizes for poster and garden club work, with Richard Edgerton hosting as master of ceremonies.

Rollins Presents Doran's Land of Nature Film
Mrs. Alice Fuller of Mount Dora will show the fantasy style film Land of Nature at Annie Russell theatre Rollins college on Friday March 9 at 4 p.m. The Beal Maltbie Shell Museum sponsors the event open to the public with no admission fee. The movie collection depicts insect and animal life reptiles flowers and trees from world travels by Mrs Fuller and her husband.
