Mount Dora Plans Quiet Fourth Of July Observance
Mount Dora plans a subdued Fourth of July with offices closed and no city wide celebration. The Mount Dora American Legion will manage downtown flag displays and offer 50 star flags at cost with three varieties for sale at Link's. Some clubs plan member programs while churches may note the holiday in services. The midweek holiday reduces travel plans and Rotary and City Council meetings are rescheduled.
