The Mount Dora Citrus Growers Association held its deferred annual meeting in its offices. The eight year report shows rising business and strong performance. For the season just closed growers received 215393.16 dollars from shipments through Florida Citrus Exchange and railroad claims. Eight year totals show 58085 boxes shipped with 1745163.61 dollars paid to growers and 11136.44 dollars in railroad claims. Average per box over eight years is 2.0423 dollars with an estimated net profit of 212 dollars per acre annually based on 710 acre average. The group notes modern plant improvements and favorable costs.
