Mount Dora Receives Federal Revenue Sharing Funds

Possum Slim Released On Age Grounds In Sorrento Death
Ed Myers known as Possum Slim, a Sorrento man charged with second degree murder in the June 7 death of Louise Stewart and the wounding of Sammy Tolbert, has been released from jail into the custody of a friend in Apopka due to advanced age and poor health. His age is given as 105 by him but 95 by Social Security records, and the case has drawn national attention.
