B. B. Critchet 81 died May 24 in a Painesville hospital after a 10 day illness. He is survived by a son Hal a brother William and one granddaughter all of Painesville. He was a Methodist and wintered in Mount Dora at the Homestead E Fourth Ave. He belonged to the local Shuffleboard club.

Fifteen Mount Dora Boy Scouts and 74 Florida scouts depart Friday July 15 for the National Boy Scouts Jamboree in Colorado Springs Colorado. They travel by bus four nights stopping at Air Force Bases Grenville Mississippi Perrin Texas Amarillo Texas and Pueblo Colorado. The event includes 54000 scouts with activities and a final dinner featuring 1330 head of steer and 7400 quarts of milk.
