Mount Dora High School Baccalaureate and Commencement
The Mount Dora High School baccalaureate ceremony occurred May 28 in the Community Auditorium with graduates in grey caps and gowns. Rev D Johnson delivered the benediction. Dr Ketcham gave the sermon. Est her Stevens performed Ave Maria. the glee club sang Thanks Be to God. commencement is set for June 2 with Elouise Glass welcome and a panel discussion on Anglo American Alliance followed by a one act comedy Jazz and Minuet.

Eveline Von Herbulis led the senior class farewell as Ralph Townsend received the American Legion Citizenship Medal with Miss Vivia Craig and LeVerne also honored. Frankie Lou Morris, Pomona Davidson, Doris Chamberlain and Rowena White won prizes. diplomas were handed by Professor Roseborough. a large crowd attended.

FINAL ASSEMBLY CLOSES SCHOOL YEAR AT 1927 CLASS NIGHT
Friday afternoon June 2 the last assembly was called by Professor Roseborough. Certificates for perfect attendance were awarded to grades seven through twelve.
