Waterman Memorial Hospital in Eustis announces a fundraising drive to establish a separate cardiac care unit by 1973. The new facility will house up to 12 patients for intensive and intermediate cardiac care while the current ICU serves non cardiac patients. Memorial donations go to the Waterman Memorial Hospital Association.
