Leesburg man 83 dies. founder of Winter Park art festival
Karl S. Bolander of Leesburg died July 17 at age 83. Born in Marion Ohio he moved to Leesburg from Mount Dora last year after living in Winter Park. He helped found the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival and lectured nationwide on arts. Surviving are his wife Dorothy a son and a daughter among seven grandchildren. Rehbaum-Harden Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Dorothy P. Brauhn of Mount Dora died Sunday at 66. She lived at 820 N Tremain St and was born in Knoxville Tennessee, moving from Chicago five years ago. She was vice president of the Monday Social Club and a member of several local groups and St Patrick’s Church. Survivors include her widower Edward J Brauhn, a daughter Marion F Schiller, a sister Lois Harrison, and four children. Rosary and requiem Mass were held at St Patrick’s Church with burial in Pine Forest Cemetery. Rehbaum Harden Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Ruth Marie Chamberlain Dies at 70 in Mount Dora
Ruth Marie Chamberlain 70 of Mount Dora died Monday. She lived at 727 South Grandview Street and had moved from Kissimmee over 40 years ago. She belonged to the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora the Pythian Sisters and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Survivors include two brothers Leo Fertic Kissimmee and Clifford Fertic St. Cloud a sister Anna Warr Augusta Ga and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Rehbaum Harden Chapel with Rev. David Coffield officiating. Burial followed in Tangerine Cemetery. Rehbaum Harden Funeral Home Mount Dora directed arrangements.
