Retiring Brig Gen Harley Ferguson Acknowledged For Long Service
Brig. Gen. Harley B. Ferguson plans retirement after 42 years in the engineering corps. He supervised the Maine levelling in Havana in 1910 1911 and has led river and harbor efforts since 1930. Ferguson served as chief engineer of the China expedition fought floods in Montgomery Alabama and commanded army engineering works in multiple cities. His son serves in the Navy and he has two daughters.
