The 31st division from Blanding on maneuvers last week swarmed through Ocala filling pockets and depleting food stocks. Restaurants and cafes sold out as wholesalers grocers and dairymen faced shortages. A cafe owner reported 110 pounds of hamburger 55 pound beef loins 165 dozen rolls 185 cases of beer four cases of eggs and 500 extra gallons of milk sold.
