Mount Dora home owners previously claiming exemption must submit re application blanks by April first to Tax Assessor L. R. Tremain. New applicants must appear in person before April 11 to obtain and complete the assessor’s blank. Adam Hazelwood age 96, Mount Dora and Lake County’s oldest resident, died early Monday January 25 at Lake County Medical Center after a long life. Born August 26 1840 in Beighton England he moved to Wisconsin at seven. He served three years in the Union Army and fought at Vicksburg before discharge in 1865. He remarried Augusta Isabella Gray in 1914 and lived in Chicago with his wife until his death. his first wife Sarah James died in 1905. He left five children John Robert Alice Ella James, two surviving.

Choir Plans Organ Fund Benefit Tonight

Elaborate preparations are under way for a concert and birthday party next Monday evening February 1 at eight o clock in the Community church under the auspices of the choir for the organ fund.
