Power boat race entries rise for Mount Dora event
Race chairman Roy Christopher says pre race entries look strong for the February 9 power boat races on Lake Dora. About 50 to 75 boats are anticipated on the 1 2/3 mile course, with 7 litre hydroplanes making their first appearance and a field including Duff Daily and Bernard D Gamme. The event is co sponsored by Mount Dora Yacht Club and the Florida Inboard Racing Club and free viewing will be from Old Hwy 441.
