A French inquiry titled in Siry arrives at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce marked “Examined by Censor.” Charles Auguste Morin of Halifax sent the request, and David Densiov, staff member, translated it to share Lake County’s fishing attractions. The Lake County Realtors meet January 17 at 7 p.m. in Eustis to install officers J. R. Ashmore, Dodge Taylor Howey, and A. Lee French, with O A Gane presiding. Owens Re elected County Board Chairman Again
Frank E. Owens of Eustis was unanimously reelected chairman of the Board of County Commissioners at a Friday meeting in the court house. It is his third year as chairman. H. K. Stokes of Clermont was named vice chair, J. W. Hunter of Tavares as board attorney, Z. D. Giles of Eustis as prosecuting attorney, and Reuben Hatcher of Tavares as custodian.
