Mutual plan to unify Florida citrus marketing proposed
The proposal outlines a board driven system to organize Florida's citrus market, halting the current disorganized 264 outlets. It would restrict handling to Mutual signatories, set prices above production cost, enforce standards, and seek law backing while allowing board edits. The aim is to unify a chaotic industry in Central Florida’s third year of effort.
