Echoes of 1923 Edgewater meeting praise and later fates
A clipped reminiscence recalls a 1923 Edgewater Beach hotel gathering of ten top financiers and leaders, followed by notes on their later downfalls. The piece pairs Christmas philosophy from Mrs. Whiting with letters from soldiers and poetic verse on everyday life, highlighting moral guidance and patriotic ideals amid postwar concerns.
