Hamiltons' Second Trial Set for March 3
The Tangerine couple Andrew Hamilton and Shirley Gaskins Hamilton expect a second trial on March 3 at 9 a.m. for resisting arrest with violence. They were acquitted of destruction of private property last August while Shirley Hamilton was convicted of disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an April 1968 incident in Eustis. The Hamiltons allege deputy Chris Taylor beat them during and after the arrest.
