Minstrel Show Planned by Lake County Pilot Club
The second annual All Women Minstrels of the Lake County Pilot club will be at Eustis High School on Tuesday March 9 under Marty of Eustis. It features Mount Dora women in the cast and the Lake County Women's Chorus led by Mrs. Ray Ingram with director Mrs. Cecile Strong. A group of child accordionists performs and Mrs. Harold Pagel is billed as a star. The Pilot club includes members from Mount Dora Eustis and Tavares with president Mrs. Marianna Clark and president-elect Mrs. Helena Nutt.

Bethune-Cookman Choir Returns to Mount Dora Sunday
The famous Bethune-Cookman college choir will present a return engagement at Mount Dora Methodist church Sunday evening at 7 30. The Negro college at Daytona Beach has built a wide reputation for its singers who appeared in Mount Dora two years ago. The school enrolls over 1000 students.

Five Mount Dora boys and two senior advisors earned a grand excursion to the state fair for their 4 H efforts.
