Fisherman’s 14-pound bass slips from stringer during lake venture
Louis Burg of Wakefield Michigan fished with guide Jack Hartright at a Umatilla spot on Lake County waters. Burg landed a 14 lb 2 oz bass that vanished when his steel stringer bent and broke. Burg and friend G W Shope witnessed the mishap as laughter followed the loss.
