He attended Leesburg and Center Hill schools, graduated from the University of Florida, began earnings at Center Hill, and became Lake County judge two years ago. He is a Kiwanis past president, church member, and civic leader with a noted early career in farming and recreation.
Edith Keller born February 20 1877 in Pittsburgh educated in public schools and Penn College for Women edited the Mount Dora Topic moved to Florida in 1909 to Mount Dora in 1914. She led the Mount Dora Woman's Club Lake County Press Association and Lake County Red Cross chapter. Active in church work Kings Daughters and chamber efforts.
Shirley Caroline Shonenberger, born February 23, 1914 in Mount Dora, grew up in Lake County Florida. A Cracker, she became a longtime civic leader serving as secretary of the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce and assistant to the Kiwanis Club secretary. She has been active in Girl Scouts and the Central Florida Council of Chambers of Commerce, with interests in dancing tennis steak and knitting.
